Public toilets statement – think twice before travelling to Weymouth
Weymouth Town Council continues to urge everyone to think twice before travelling to Weymouth. If you are thinking of travelling to Weymouth, facilities will be limited and we are unfortunately unable to guarantee their availability.
From Tuesday 2nd June, the following public toilet facilities will be open daily between 9am and 8pm:
• Overcombe
• Lodmoor Country Park
• Greenhill Gardens (above ground)
• The Pier Bandstand
• Swannery Car Park
• Hope Square
• Nothe Gardens
• Maiden Street
The public toilets at King’s Statue remain closed.
Accessible facilities (via radar key access) are available at all open toilet facilities.
Please note that the availability of our public toilet facilities is subject to change at short notice; we cannot guarantee their availability.
When using our public toilet facilities, remember to stay alert and keep 2 metres away from people not from your household. Please also wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds and use sanitiser regularly.
In order to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the public and staff, we may need to close facilities for cleaning and repairs. Please pay attention to safety signage and hygiene measures in place at each of our facilities.
Updates and changes will be published on the Council’s social media accounts.
Thank you for your continued understanding and patience during these unprecedented times.
