What is Community Development?

We can provide support to Weymouth groups, organisations, and residents to use their own assets to improve the quality of community life and help public agencies to work together to improve services and needs in Weymouth.

Community Grants

Grants are currently available through our community grants scheme, which aim to benefit worthy community, voluntary and charitable organisations in the local area. Grants can be used to help fund new projects, equipment, events or training. If you want to apply for a community grant click here.

Community Networking Events

Our community networking events run several times a year, so please keep an eye our on our social media channels for more details. The next one is on Tuesday 21st April, with more details to follow.

They provide a great opportunity for organisations and individuals to come together, learn from each other, strengthen contacts, share resources, and hear talks from guest speakers on topics like how to make a funding application successful.
