Weymouth Town Council joins the nation in mourning the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
In a statement, the Mayor of Weymouth said: “It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty was such an influential monarch and will be greatly missed. I am sure many people in Weymouth will want to pay their respects.
“Following today’s announcement from Buckingham Palace, the union flag will be flown at half-mast at the New Town Hall, Weymouth Town Council offices as a mark of respect.”
