Mayor’s Christmas Fund Appeal is now open for donations!

If you or your organisation can help the Mayor of Weymouth spread some Christmas joy in the town this year, Weymouth Town Council would love to hear from you.

Mayor Cllr Kate Wheller is on the lookout for organisations to donate to the annual Christmas Fund appeal.

Last year’s fund raised over £1,000 which was shared between organisations including The Lantern Trust, The Bus Shelter, food banks, the Veterans Hub, Samaritans, The Nest, MV Freedom and many more.

Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Kate Wheller, said: “I’m excited to be launching the Mayor’s Christmas Fund Appeal this year. This is to gather essential funds to spread some festive cheer and offer additional assistance to charities and communities who may be facing financial challenges.

“If you can help, please consider making a donation as it really will make a difference to different communities in Weymouth.”

Cheques can be made payable to ‘The Mayor’s Christmas Fund’ and sent to:
