Temporary closure of Lower St Alban Street (part) & St Thomas Street (part), Weymouth (night works)

Dorset Council has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along LOWER ST ALBAN STREET & ST THOMAS STREET, WEYMOUTH; Lower St Alban Street between its junctions with St Nicholas Street and St Thomas Street; St Thomas Street between its junctions with School Street and St Edmund Street. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation at 1930hrs on 21 February 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2300hrs on 21 February 2024.
This Notice will enable Wessex Water safe access to carry out works to reinstatement.
