Free parking days in Weymouth this Christmas

To help shoppers return to high streets across Dorset for their Christmas shopping, Dorset Council is offering 3 days of free parking this December.

Free parking will apply on Saturday 5, 12 and 19 December in the following Weymouth car parks:

• Cosens Quay
• Council Offices
• Governors Lane
• Harbourside
• Lodmoor
• Melcombe Regis
• Nothe
• Park Street
• Pavilion and Pavilion Forecourt
• Royal Yard
• Swannery

Normal charges and free parking periods apply on all other days. Charges also apply at any car parks not listed and for on-street parking.

Graham Winter, Mayor of Weymouth Town Council said:

“We’re looking forward to welcoming shoppers back to Weymouth and hope that offering free parking on these days will give residents that extra incentive to spend more time in their local shopping area. It helps promote Weymouth as a shopping destination and will give our town centre a boost following a very difficult year.”
