Greenhill Floral Bedding Design 2024 – apply now
Is your charitable organisation celebrating a poignant anniversary in 2024? If so, would you like to be considered for next year’s floral bedding design in Greenhill Gardens?
Every year, skilled gardeners at Weymouth Town Council meticulously arrange thousands of plants to recreate an organisation’s emblem in the flowerbed at the heart of the gardens.
This year’s design featured a flower display in celebration of the coronation of King Charles.
These eye-catching displays are one of the most popular attractions in the gardens and are of great interest to residents and visitors.
Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Kate Wheller, said: “This is a great initiative that the Council do each year, so I encourage any charitable organisations to apply to be in with the chance of having a flower bed design created to celebrate them!”
For information on how to get your charitable organisation considered for the free floral bedding design, please contact Emily Brown by emailing emilybrown@weymouthtowncouncil.gov.uk by Friday 6th October.
The winner will be announced at a later date.
