Thank you from the Mayor

Thank you to everyone who supported the Barn Dance on Saturday 25th January in aid of Family Matters.

Thanks to the band – The Vernacular and caller Angela Lacock. Thanks also to Cherry Clarke and Mary Jordan-Winter for organising the buffet. Also thanks to The Centenary Club and bar staff for their excellent service, everyone who donated a raffle prize, Kaz McGuiness, our charity busker for her donations, Peter Lythgoe for promoting the event, the band for donating part of their fee and of course all who attended the dance, where everyone had a great time.

A substantial amount was raised for the Family Matters Charity which will help those trapped in poverty. Thank you to all who are supporting this cause.
