There’s still time to have your say in the Residents’ Survey

There is still time to have a say on services provided by Weymouth Town Council before its Residents’ Survey closes next week on Friday 24th November.

Services run by the Council include everything from public toilets, parks, gardens, and open spaces to the beach and promenade. Statutory services like housing, education, waste and recycling are run by Dorset Council, not the town council.

Council Leader Cllr David Harris said: “Please spare us a few minutes to tell us what you think about our services. Weymouth Town Council is committed to listening to residents and acting in their best interests. Our residents’ survey will provide valuable feedback on what is important to everyone living in the town and help us to understand what people think of their Council.

“The survey results will also be used to evaluate satisfaction levels with the services the Council provides so that we can continue to make improvements for the benefit of all residents, and to tourists who visit our beautiful coastal town.”

Survey questions cover residents’ thoughts on customer service satisfaction levels when contacting the council to views on how clean and well-maintained facilities are – from toilets to parks, gardens, and open spaces.

Everyone who completes the short survey will have the chance to be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win one £100 high street shopping voucher.

The consultation runs until Friday 24th November and is available online at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Y9VVT8L You can also go to Weymouth Library and get support to fill out the survey online.
