Seaweed update on Weymouth Beach

We’ve been working hard to keep the beach clean so that people can continue to enjoy the golden sands that Weymouth is famous for. This morning we worked with our contractor to move the remaining algae deposits further down into the sea, returning it to the sea so it can continue to form an important part of the food chain. We will continue to monitor the situation.
