Dogs on Beaches

Dogs are allowed on Weymouth and Greenhill beaches from 1st October to the end of April inclusive. Dogs must be kept on leads on the promenade but allowed off lead on the beach.

Dogs are permitted all year round in restricted areas including:

• Greenhill Groyne to Overcombe
• Bowleaze Cove
• Dog exercise area (next to Weymouth Pavilion)
