Free community event in Littlemoor during Easter holidays

The first in a series of free community events being organised by Weymouth Town Council takes place in Littlemoor on Wednesday 3rd April.

Littlemoor Springtime Community Day will be held at Littlemoor Top Club, Louviers Road between 11am and 2pm, and is aimed at families who are looking for something free and fun to do during the school holidays.

Children can get creative with arts and crafts, enjoy children’s rides, trampolining, and games. Big4Littlemoor is funding the activities for younger visitors, meanwhile Houseworks Dorset CIC will be there showcasing their photographic exhibition, “My Place, My Space”.

Top Club’s café will be open serving up delicious refreshments during the event and there will also be information stands and other activities for all the family to enjoy – no need to book, just turn up to the event and get immersed in all the fun.

Charmaine Denny, Weymouth Town Council’s Assistant Town Clerk, said: “Weymouth has lots to offer for families looking for fun activities during the school holidays so, whether you’re a regular to Top Club, or you’ve never been before, why not come along to our free Springtime Community Day and enjoy a great day out?”

There will be two more free community events over the summer – Tuesday 6th August at Links Road, Westham and Wednesday 28th August at Wyke Gardens, Portland Road. A further event in the autumn will also take place and the Town Council will be announcing further details in due course.
