Free deckchair hire on Weymouth beach for one lucky winner!
If you enjoy soaking up the sun on a trip to Weymouth beach, then why not enter our competition to be in with a chance of winning a week’s free deckchair hire?
With the new season gearing up to be a fantastic year in sunny Weymouth, we’re offering anyone who attends the Weymouth Community Expo event on Saturday 23rd April the chance to win free deckchair hire for a week.
All you have to do is come along to the free event at Redlands Community Sports Hub on Dorchester Road anytime between 12pm to 2.30pm on the 23rd April and enter the competition.
Weymouth Town Council’s Resort Manager Will Holmes says: “Did you know you can win a week’s free deckchair hire if you come along to the Weymouth Community Expo on Saturday 23rd April?
“Just tell us how many deckchairs you think we hired out on the beach last year to be in with a chance of winning this relaxing prize. I’ll give you a clue. It was more than 3,000 but less than 40,000. See you there, and good luck!”
The winning entry will be announced after the event closes.
The Weymouth Community Expo event is a twist on the annual town meeting highlighting voluntary and community groups. It also provides an opportunity to find out more about Weymouth Town Council services. Local community, sports and hobby groups will also be there so it is also a wonderful opportunity to find out more about what’s on in the town and how you can get more involved.
There is limited availability left to book a stand at the event but any community and voluntary groups wishing to apply can email events@weymouthtowncouncil.gov.uk by Friday 8th April 2022 to request a booking form.
On the day, the event runs from 12pm to 2.30pm at Redlands Community Sports Hub, Dorchester Road, Weymouth DT3 5AW, so drop in at any time on Saturday 23rd April.
