Full Council meeting to discuss the decision of funfairs
Weymouth Town Councillors will be discussing the future of funfairs on the seafront at a Full Council meeting on Wednesday 8th March at 7pm. The public are invited to attend. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber, The New Town Hall, Commercial Road, Weymouth.
The discussion follows the decision last week by the Council’s Services Committee to reduce the number of funfairs in 2023. Alternative options had previously been explored but were not viable. The previously agreed bookings on various dates at the Jubilee Clock and the Easter funfair on the Pavilion Forecourt between April 7th and 16th still stand, subject to licence terms.
The papers will be published on the Town Council’s website on Wednesday 1st March. www.weymouthtowncouncil.gov.uk/committee.
