WHO: Members of the public are invited to join the Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Jon Orrell, Councillors, the Friends of Radipole Park and Gardens, along with the Quangle Wangle choir and the Weymouth Ukuleleans.
WHAT/WHERE: For a fun day to mark the official opening of Radipole Park and Gardens, which has had a £1M revamp. Join them in the car park, which will be closed on the day for the event, Address is Radipole Park Drive, Weymouth DT3 5EZ.
WHEN: Saturday 15th June.Various activities between 11am and 2pm, with official speeches to mark the opening at 12pm.
Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Jon Orrell, said: “I am thrilled about the opening of the new park as this has been a highly anticipated event for our community. The park represents months of hard work, planning, and dedication, and it is truly a milestone we can all be proud of. I strongly encourage everyone to come along and join in the celebration.”
