Guy Fawkes Night returns this November!

Weymouth Town Council will once again be bringing a spectacular celebration of Guy Fawkes Night on Sunday 5th November. Experience the hospitality of Weymouth while indulging in delicious food stalls, available on the Promenade from 6pm onwards.

The evening’s festivities kick off with food stalls at 6pm. The stalls include food and drink from, The Saddle Stop, The Tasty Burger Co, The Duck & Chicken, Proper Pork Crackling, Grilled n Chilled, Coffee Guys, The Sunflower Cafe and Bennetts Fish & Chips. There will be a bonfire on the beach at 7.40pm and don’t miss the breathtaking firework display in Weymouth Bay at 8pm!

The Town Council is working in partnership with Sirotechnics who wowed the crowds with the amazing firework displays in Weymouth during the summer.

Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Kate Wheller, says: “With shorter days in November, bonfire night promises to be a thrilling celebration which will light up Weymouth’s skies over the bay with plenty to do to keep everyone entertained.”

“Why not make a weekend of it and enjoy a night out ending with a bang with the firework display? Or try something new from the food stalls that will be dotted along on the Promenade. I will also be there collecting money for the Mayor’s Christmas Fund with the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club, so please donate if you can. I look forward to welcoming you all on the night.”

If you are coming to the fireworks, please walk, cycle, or catch public transport wherever possible.
