Halloween at Tumbledown

This October half-term, Tumbledown will be hosting a Halloween event for children on Thursday 26th October between 10am and 1pm.

Get ready to dive into the Halloween spirit with a variety of engaging and creative activities, from picking a pumpkin to carve, autumn leaf animal collage making and leaf printing!

Chair of Environment and Services Committee, Cllr Ryan Hope, said: “This is a great opportunity for children to explore their creative talents and connect with the natural world around them over the October half-term. Join us at Tumbledown on the 26th and take part in pumpkin carving as well as autumnal leaf painting and creative Halloween festivities!”

Adult supervision is required for the pumpkin carving.

Tumbledown is a former farm which Weymouth Town Council is developing into a community asset where people come together to connect with nature and benefit from community-led growing, learning and well-being opportunities. For more information, visit the website

Located off Radipole Lane and signposted as you approach the site from the main entrance. People are encouraged to walk or cycle to the event. Please note that there is limited space on site for parking and you may need to park down at the bottom of the hill.
