Mayor invites you to Carols by the Coast
The Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Jon Orrell, invites you to join him for this year’s Carols by the Coast event on Saturday 7th December.
This is the second year the free event takes place along Weymouth’s seafront, next to the Prom Café between 5pm and 6pm.
The Mayor said: “Please join me for Carols by the Coast and enjoy some Christmas cheer on Weymouth’s seafront this December.
“It’s a free event and everyone is welcome to come along. We’ll have the Salvation Army band playing some lovely carols and seasonal songs, so wrap up warm and gather round for this truly festive event. Saturday 7th December, 5pm to 6pm by the Prom Café on the promenade. I hope to see you there!”
Talking of Christmas, the Mayor will also be on hand this Saturday 30th November to switch on the Christmas lights in the town! 5pm in New Bond Street, around the tree.
Free Parking
On the day, there will be free parking in all Dorset Council operated car parks in Weymouth town centre. For a full list of participating car parks, visit our featured news item.
