Mayor meets students at All Saints Academy

Students at All Saints CofE Academy in Wyke had a visit from the Mayor of Weymouth today (Friday 27th January).
Cllr Ann Weaving joined pupils from Year 7 for their assembly, along with Helen Toft, ward councillor for Wyke Regis. They also spent time with members of the School Council.
Dave Jennings, the academy’s Assistant Vice Principal for personal development organised the visit, and said it was part of a series of ‘Industry Talks‘ where pupils have been given an insight into different careers.
Mayor of Weymouth, Cllr Ann Weaving, said: “It was great to meet all the enthusiastic pupils, and talk to them about the role of being Mayor.”
