New Town Council Grant Scheme to Benefit Local Projects
Weymouth Town Council is happy to announce a new scheme, with the aim of benefiting worthy community, voluntary and charitable organisations in the local area.
Organisations that work with communities in the Weymouth Town Council area will be able to apply for a grant from the Town Council to help fund new projects, equipment, events or training.
This scheme will empower organisations, support new projects and help improve lives. The funding will lead to greater self-sufficiency and financial independence, leaving more time for organisations to focus on working with and supporting local people.
To be eligible for funding, applicants must meet the criteria set out in the Grants Policy. For example, evidence must be shown that the service the applicant provides is needed by the community and that it has community support. The full list of requirements can be found in the Grants Policy and application form below.
As a Town Council, we are committed to helping to make Weymouth the best it can be, and a way of doing this is by supporting non-profit organisations who provide invaluable services within our communities.
These grants offer local groups and organisations a chance to easily access much needed funding to make Weymouth an even better place to live, work and learn. We are looking forward to receiving diverse applications that support a range of communities within the area.
