Rugbytots to take over Weymouth Beach!
Weymouth Town Council are excited to see the return of Rugbytots this Saturday 26th August. Rugbytots from across Somerset & Dorset will be taking part in their first-ever sports fixture this weekend on Weymouth beach, in aid of the Wooden Spoon Charity, where in a collective effort they are aiming to help conclude our campaign to raise £1million for this great charity.
There will be many exciting activities where boys and girls aged 2 – 7 can put their new skills into practice during an exciting tag-rugby tournament, featuring amazing prizes from tournament partner Tractor Ted.
With over 500 tots playing each week, Rugbytots Somerset and Dorset is now the most popular group in the UK, so the public are encouraged to come along and cheer them on!
Rugbytots classes run every weekend in 12 different locations across the area. For more information or to book a free trial, please contact: gareth@rugbytots.co.uk
Please also kindly be advised that a significant portion of the beach will be temporarily cordoned off to accommodate the Rugbytots on the Beach event scheduled for the day. This restriction will be in effect from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Please note that this event will not restrict access to the dog friendly section of the beach with the slipway and accessible matting.
