The diary of engagements for Cllr Kate Wheller, Mayor of Weymouth for the month of February is as follows:
Friday 9th February, 12pm
Event: Attending a lunch at Weymouth College to mark National Apprenticeship Week and celebrate the successes and achievements of students.
Saturday 10th February, 10.30am
Event: Everybody Chase the Dinosaur, Weymouth Beach. The Mayor will attend the first ever beach dinosaur race taking place on Saturday 10th February. Competitors are encouraged to don their best dinosaur costumes.
Tuesday 13th February, 10am – 2pm
Event: Love Your Weymouth Festival, The Council Chamber, Council Offices, The New Town Hall, Commercial Road, DT4 8NG
A new event organised by Weymouth Town Council which aims to bring people together from across the town to get tips on energy-saving, healthy eating and what can be done to tackle the effects of climate change.
