What is Community Development?

Our Community Development Officer, Charlotte Emery, provides support to Weymouth groups, organisations, and residents to use their own assets to improve the quality of community life and helps communities and public agencies to work together to improve services and needs in Weymouth.

Community Grants

Grants are currently available through Weymouth Town Council’s grant scheme, with the aim of benefiting worthy community, voluntary and charitable organisations in the local area. Organisations that work with communities in our area are able to apply for a grant from us to help fund new projects, equipment, events or training.
